Next, we will head to the Chocolate Museum, founded in 1839. Here, you’ll learn about the history and production of chocolate, from the planting of cocoa seeds to the selection of ingredients that make this irresistible treat. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase delicious chocolate gifts.
Afterward, enjoy free time in Cologne! You can take a stroll along the river to visit the famous Kölner Dom (Cologne Cathedral), one of the most extraordinary and well-known churches in Germany. From the cathedral, you can explore one of Cologne’s two famous shopping streets:
Hohe Straße, which eventually leads into
Schildergasse, another popular shopping street that ends at Neumarkt, home to a small indoor mall, Neumarkt Galerie.
