Get ready for an eleven-hour festival packed with incredible sights, sounds, and flavors.
The Rhine promenade transforms into one of Europe’s biggest gatherings for cosplay and Japan fans. Whether you’re wearing an imaginative costume yourself or simply admiring the creativity, the atmosphere is unforgettable—and you might even catch the cosplay competition.
Across multiple stages, enjoy live music and performances ranging from traditional Japanese taiko drum groups to modern J-Pop and J-Rock bands. With over 400 performers appearing on the main stage alone, entertainment continues throughout the entire day.
Food lovers will feel right at home in the festival food market, where dozens of stalls serve authentic Japanese favorites. Enjoy everything from fresh sushi and takoyaki to savory ramen and other delicious street food specialties.
As night falls, the celebration concludes with a spectacular Japanese fireworks show over the Rhine. This breathtaking pyrotechnic display lights up the DĂĽsseldorf skyline and serves as the unforgettable grand finale to the festival.
