Spangdahlem Library

The Spangdahlem Library offers over 25,000 books, movies, music, and videogames for the entire Spangdahlem community including best sellers, CLEP & DANTES study materials, young adult fiction, children’s books, audiobooks, and more! We also offer programs every month for children, teens, and adults. Our mission is to provide access to information that is essential to the Air Force Mission while providing services and activities that enhance the quality of life for patrons at Spangdahlem Air Base.

You can access the online resources with your DOD ID through the DOD MWR Website, no library card required. https://daf.dodmwrlibraries.org/

For a full-access library account, please visit the library in person. You can download and fill out this form with your information in advance to speed up the process at the library. If you had an account at another base, your account may still be active and may be transferred to Spangdahlem Library. Please visit the library to get set up.

Lego Club

Join us every 1st & 3rd Wednesday at 2:00 PM, as we play, create and meet our friends! We’ve got thousands of LEGOs and some fun building challenges to boot! Come build with us! Children age 3 and older can meet and play. Registration required at:


Curiosity Club

Every 2nd & 4th Wednesday at 2:00 PM. Recommended Age: 8+ Curiosity Club allows our students to explore, create, problem-solve, and be inspired in the areas of science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Registration required at:


Storytime - Babies (0-24 Months)

Join us every 1st & 3rd Thursday at 11:00 AM, Following the “Very Ready Reading Program,” we hope to accentuate the development of early literacy while encouraging bonding with caregivers in this lapsit program. No registration required.

Storytime - Youngsters (2-5 Years)

Join us every 1st & 3rd Thursday at 1:00 PM, Following the “Very Ready Reading Program,” we hope to accentuate the development of early literacy in our young readers. No registration required.

Spice Club

Every 1st Saturday, Add a little SPICE to life with our monthly SPICE CLUB TAKE & MAKE KIT. Included will be a sample of the month’s spice and two recipes to try out.

Introduction to the Makerspace

Join us every 3rd Saturday at 10:30 AM, Join us once a month as we show you the basics of one piece of our Makerspace equipment. No registration required.

Craft Café

Come join us every 3rd Saturday at 1:00 PM, for cozy, chill weekend vibes, a cup of caffeine, and creative projects for adults and teens. Registration required at: 


Pokémon Trainer Meetup

Come Catch them all every 4th Thursday at 3:00 PM, Pokémon Trainers age 6 and older can meet new friends, play the TCG and of course trade Pokémon Cards. No registration required.

Book Club BINGO
