2026 Summer Reading Program Plant a Seed, Read Grand Finale Party!

Get ready to get messy! Our summer-long journey through the Shire is coming to an end, and we aren’t going out quietly. Join the Spangdahlem Library at the Wing Pavilion for the MESStival—a day of total creative chaos to celebrate all the seeds we’ve planted and the stories we’ve grown!

The Messy Agenda:

• The Color Toss Challenge: We’ve saved the best for last! This is your chance to throw colored powder all over a member of Base Leadership. Who is the mystery guest? You’ll have to be there to find out!

• Messy Craft Stations: From “seedling” splatter art to “potato” stamps and “sprout” slime, we’re hosting the biggest, brightest, and goopiest crafts of the year.

• The Grand Harvest: We’ll be announcing our Prize Winners! Find out who read their way to the top of the leaderboards and take home your hard-earned rewards.
