Brussels Flower Carpet

August 17 @ 7:00 am - 9:30 pm

Upon arrival in Brussels, take the time to explore the Grand-Place, the historical and architectural heart of the city. This magnificent square, often hailed as “the most beautiful central square in the world,” showcases an exquisite blend of Gothic, Baroque, Neo-Classical, and Neo-Gothic styles. Construction of the Grand-Place began in the 15th century, featuring halls, guild houses, and the iconic Town Hall. Despite being almost entirely destroyed by a three-day bombardment by the French Army in 1695, the square was remarkably rebuilt in less than five years by the dedicated guilds of Brussels.
Stroll through the square, inhale the fragrant scent of begonias, and marvel at the intricate architectural details that surround you. For an even more breathtaking experience, visit the balcony of the Town Hall (admission fee not included), which offers a stunning panoramic view of this extraordinary spectacle.
After a “colorful day” at the Grand-Place, we will depart at 6:00 PM back to the Eifel. But Brussels has much more to offer:

  • Famous Chocolates and Beers: Indulge in some of the world’s finest chocolates and beers, iconic products of Belgium.
  • Cultural Riches: With almost 90 museums, beautiful parks, stunning architecture, and lively bars, Brussels is a city teeming with cultural and recreational opportunities.
